I know I’ve been away for a while but I’ve returned to tell you about a special friend of mine. His name is Boo and he has cancer. I first met him when his mom brought him in because he wasn’t feeling well. My servants quickly discovered he had cancer, specifically lymphoma. Luckily, lymphoma is one of the more treatable cancers we, rulers of the world (cats), get.
I recommended Boo go to see an oncologist, a cancer specialist. My servants work closely with the New England Veterinary Oncology Group or NEVOG. He told his mom and she made him an appointment.
The oncologist was able to make a plan for treatment and Boo began his journey to remission. It wasn’t long before he began feeling better but I had to remind him that even though he was feeling better he still had to complete his treatments. He reluctantly agreed.
Boo is now in remission and feeling great. My servants received this letter from him a few days ago and I wanted to share it with you. Boo is very special to me and my servants. We want to wish him a long and happy remission and we’ll see you soon!
